Types of Student Employment

 

Work Study

  • Work Study is a Federal and State-funded program permitting students to earn a salary by working part time on campus. Click here for more on work study.
    • Work up to 20 hours/week on campus
    • Hourly rates start at the minimum wage and can be increased by level and tier
    • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits for the semester in which they are working
  • How do I know if I am eligible for Work Study?
    • You must apply for Financial Aid (FAFSA) in order to learn of your eligibility.
    • Call 303.914.6256 for general Financial Aid information.

Student Hourly

  • Student Hourly employment allows students to work part time on campus, with wages paid by the hiring department.
  • Student Hourly is not connected to your Financial Aid status
    • Work up to 20 hours/week on campus
    • Hourly rates start at the minimum wage and can be increased by level and tier
    • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits for the semester in which they are working

Payroll Information

Payroll Schedule  - Biweekly Payroll Schedule, Spring Semester 2024

 

Timesheets: All student employees are required to record the hours they've worked on electronic timesheets and to submit those timesheets according to the schedules above.

Instructions on how to complete your electronic timesheet can be found here

Please contact Ruya Barnhart in the Human Resources Department at 303.914.6569 if you cannot access your time sheet or if you have questions about your time sheet.
